DMP has been in the business of saving lives since 1975 by designing and manufacturing state-of-the-art electronic security and fire alarm products.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Designs and draws schematics using a CAD system. 2. Creates PCB designs from schematics using a CAD system. 3. Selects parts/compiles parts list for product design and ECO release. 4. Debugs prototypes using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other test equipment. 5. Designs For Manufacturing (DFM) to meet requirements for on-site electronic manufacturing facility. 6. Certifies completed designs for compliance submittal; UL, FCC, etc.
This is a full-time position located in Springfield, MO. and offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package including bonus options.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent experience. Microprocessor, digital, analog design and troubleshooting experience. Schematic capture / PCB layout software experience. Power supply design experience desired. TCP/IP, Ethernet and data networks experience desired. Telecommunication / telephony experience desired.
